According to State of DevOps Report (2019), the same cycle is also reduced to a daily or maybe hourly release-build cycle by adding DevOps.
Quick Bug Fixing: DevOps can be quick thanks to better coordination and collaboration between different departments. The whole process is ultimately faster when all parties are involved in discovering the root of the problem.
Better collaboration: It is no doubt that DevOps offers tangible benefits to the company culture. Increased coordination and cooperation between production and operating teams ensures that they are not siloed and can easily communicate with each other and exchange information and best practices to build stronger processes. Hence DevOps encourages a culture of trust and risk sharing among team members and introduces sustainable quality to business cultures. Rather than conventional rule-based or power-based cultures, DevOps seeks to reduce the red tape that is part of the process, resulting a healthier, more satisfied and thus more efficient workforce which positively impact their work overall.

Mark Schwartz, former CIO of US Citizenship and Immigration Services, wrote «DevOps changes fundamental IT leadership principles, such as how you view requirements, governance, and risk. The idea that IT is merely responsible for ‘delivering’ what the business says it wants or needs».
